Saaf Travel is an Oman-based tour operator creating private journeys throughout the Sultanate. From Muscat’s historic streets and the peaks of the Hajar Mountains to desert camps, turquoise wadis, coastal villages, and the landscapes of Dhofar, we help guests experience the many sides of Oman.
Saaf was founded by Mohammed Al-Rasbi after more than ten years of guiding travelers across the country. He wanted to create journeys that felt more personal, thoughtful, and connected to the Oman he knows, not simply tours built around a list of attractions.
Our name comes from the Arabic word for the frond of the date palm, a tree deeply connected to Omani life. Palm fronds have traditionally provided shade, shelter, and practical support, while dates remain a symbol of hospitality and welcome. That same spirit of care is at the heart of every Saaf journey.
